Tonya Peters

Tonya is the lead instructor and owner of Force Defense & Fitness. She has over 11 years of self defense and fitness training experience, including Krav Maga, Kali, Muay Thai and Kickboxing. She is excited to use that experience to help you reach your personal goals! Tonya has always had a passion for teaching.  She not only teaches fitness and personal protection to the students through the classes offered at Force but also spreads that knowledge throughout the community with various self defense seminars and workshops. She enjoys working with a wide variety of clientele from Law Enforcement and Military personnel to kids and parents...anyone willing to work hard, have fun and learn something new.

 Before turning her passion into a full time school, she spent years helping educate others as a respiratory therapist, substitute elementary teacher and a member of the community CERT and MRC. Tonya is the mother of three wonderful and active boys: Logan, Walker, and Wyatt. They are her pride and joy. She enjoys spending time with them, watching them participate in various sports or coaching them.

Tonya is dedicated to helping others get fit and go home safe!!!
